Woodmont Acquires Potomac West Apartments in Alexandria

Woodmont Real Estate Partners (WREP), a real estate investment firm focused on mid-Atlantic opportunities, has completed its first acquisition with the purchase of the Potomac West Apartments in Alexandria, Virginia.

WREP acquired the 60-unit affordable housing property in an off-market all-cash transaction through a joint venture with an institutional equity partner.

“We are excited to begin building Woodmont’s portfolio with the acquisition of Potomac West,” said Brian Sobiecki, WREP’s Managing Partner. “This exceptionally well located 60-unit property sits on 1.5 acres only a few blocks west of the Potomac Yard Center and metro station. We look forward to being long-term stewards of this asset in the dynamic Northern Virginia market.”
