Woodlands Waterway Undergoing Upgrades

Improvements are underway in the Woodlands Waterway amenity, an important part of The Woodlands, TX. Specifically, construction has begun on an extension of a turning basin near Town Green Park, with completion anticipated by Q2 2017.

The existing guardrail is being replaced, with a boardwalk added on the portion along the water’s edge. Walkways will be connected with fountains and stairs. Seating, landscaping and lighting are also being added.

The Woodlands Development Co. is overseeing construction, design and planning of the project. The Woodlands Town Center Owners Association is funding the development.
