Woodlands Towers Close in on 100% Occupancy

The Howard Hughes Corp. is getting closer to full occupancy for the Woodlands Towers office buildings that were bought four years ago for over $500 million.

One of the two buildings has gone from 0 to 83% occupancy. The company bought a single-tenant building in 2019 where the tenant moved out, and has since created a multi-tenant building.

The company said it has three new tenants at the 9950 Woodloch Forest Tower in the past few months, including an expansion and two new headquarters. Kodiak Gas Services is moving its headquarters onto two floors making up 53,060 square feet. Kraton Corp. leased 27,179, also for a new headquarters and US Oncology rented one floor making up 26,530 square feet.

Occidental Petroleum fully occupies the other tower making the total occupancy at The Woodlands Towers 93%.
