Woodfield Scores $47M Bridge Loan on Union City Rental Community

Woodfield Development secured a $47 million floating-rate bridge loan from ACRE for the Union Green apartments, a 295-unit development that includes one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments across two four-story buildings. Amenities include a pool, clubhouse, fitness and wellness studio and a sky lounge. Union Green was delivered at the end of 2024.

Woodfield has completed several multifamily projects in Georgia, including 505 Courtland just south of North Avenue near Bank of America Plaza and Holden at Oak Grove in Athens. It will also construct 840 Woodrow along the Atlanta Beltline and an apartment project on Embassy Row in Sandy Springs.

ACRE has made loans on more than 25,000 apartments across 75 properties in 31 cities in the U.S., United Kingdom, and Southeast Asia.

The Union Green project was built by CBG Building Co., and Fifth Dimension Architecture & Interiors was the architect.

A team from Walker & Dunlop — Walker Layne, Allan Edelson, Matthew Wallach and Stephen West — arranged the loan on Woodfield’s behalf.
