Woodfield Development to Build 284-Unit MF Tower in Atlanta

Woodfield Development has acquired a one-acre development site in Atlanta’s SoNo area for $7.9 million with plans to construct a 284-unit multifamily high-rise project at the site.

The project, which is located at 505 Courtland Street, is planned to consist of a 16-story tower with Prescient light gauge steel system construction. Groundbreaking is slated for September. The project will be the first tower structure developed in the SoNo area in the past 10 years.

Scott Cullen and Mark Lindenbaum of JLL represented the seller of the development site, Drapac, in the transaction. Woodfield’s Patrick Kassin will lead the development of the 505 Courtland project.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to contribute to the neighborhood’s character at such a pivotal point and help solidify its identity,” said Kassin. “With immediate proximity to parks, entertainment, transportation and jobs the area has the potential to be a top Atlanta neighborhood.”
