Wood Partners expanding reach to San Marcos with 330-unit multifamily apartment complex offering

Wood Partners to Build San Marcos Apartment Community

Alta Center Point will be Wood Partners next multifamily real estate development venture. It’s their first in San Marcos, but they may have good reason to build there. Among cities with more than 50,000 people, San Marcos was ranked as the fastest growing city in America for three years in a row by the U.S. Census Bureau.

“Wood Partners is thrilled to be joining the San Marcos community…we are focused on providing our residents with unparalleled community and a great place to call home,” said Wood Partners Bart Barrett.

The company is building 330 multifamily apartment homes which will be ready for renting in the Fall of 2023. Situated just off I-35, the community should provide easy access to both Austin and San Antonio. Additionally, San Marcos is home to Amazon, Texas State University, HEB and Tanger.

The Atlanta-based company has developed more than 79,000 housing units with a combined value of more than $14.1 billion.
