Women in Real Estate Honoree: Lisa Silverstein, Silverstein Properties

As executive vice president for Silverstein Properties, Lisa Silverstein actively participates in all aspects of residential real estate development, from deal evaluation, analysis and pre-development planning to construction, marketing, operations, sales and leasing.

Under her watch, the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Downtown opened in 2016 at 99 Church St., a few steps from the World Trade Center site. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects, the 82-story tower includes 157 luxury residences above the hotel.

For her involvement in developments like these, we chose Silverstein to be one of the 2017 Women in Real Estate Award winners for New York. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of those women who have reached respected positions of leadership, and play key mentorship roles for others in commercial real estate.

Silverstein sits on the boards of UJA and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees at New York University.
