Women in Real Estate Honoree: Alice Carr, JPMorgan Chase

For more than two decades, Alice Carr has acted on her passion for the business and developing and enriching local communities — and that passion made her a leader in finance.

Carr is the head of community development banking for JPMorgan Chase. Before that, she was a managing director for Citi Community Capital. She specializes in community development banking, affordable housing finance and programs like the New Markets Tax Credit and the low-income housing tax credit.

She has the unique ability to determine what makes the most sense for a particular development to bring the power, expertise and resources of a large institution to bear.

That’s just one of the reasons we chose Carr to be one of the 2017 Women in Real Estate Award winners.
