Women in Real Estate 2018: Tolin’s a Bay Area Mainstay at TMG

San Francisco-based TMG Partners has focused on developing urban infill projects in the Bay Area since 1984—i.e. since the days when the present-day tech sector was still in its early stages.

One of the most active developers in the area, the company has developed more than 25 million square feet across the office, retail, residential and industrial sectors. A key member of the TMG team for 30 of those 34 years has been Lynn Tolin, who has served as the company’s COO since October 2015, after serving as EVP and director of assets & property management.

In her current position, Tolin oversees TMG’s asset and property management, accounting, administration and other functions of the company. In her three decades with TMG, she has helped coordinate the acquisition, management and disposition of various property types valued at over $3.5 billion.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Tolin as one of the 2018 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Tolin has been a presence in Bay Area CRE for several years. Before joining TMG, she served with Cornish & Carey’s San Mateo office, specializing in office leasing. She also served at Hare Brewer & Kelley in Palo Alto as senior property manager.
