Women in Real Estate 2018: Savills Studley’s Davidson is a Change Agent
Lisa Davidson is an EVP in Savills Studley’s Chicago office, and leads one of the highest-performing office tenant advisory teams in the city. In her 30-plus years with the firm, she has executed more than 25 million square feet of transactions and has a diverse client portfolio that includes tech, nonprofits, professional service firms and major corporations.
An expert in reducing real estate costs for corporate space users, Davidson has developed an exceptional practice in the area of early lease restructuring. She has helped numerous firms achieve favorable economic terms through her proactive strategies.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Davidson as one of the 2018 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Davidson is a change agent. As a senior leader in Chicago and nationally, she has been a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, and has driven a number of initiatives to hire, mentor, support and connect with women.
This past January, Davidson was named chief diversity officer at Savills Studley. Together, with the firm’s executive leadership team, she’s launching the “Building Inclusivity and Diversity” program, a conscious effort both to build awareness of career growth opportunities and to hire and mentor more women.
