Women in Real Estate 2018: J.P. Morgan’s Edwards Brings Deal Participants Together

For over 20 years, most recently as senior client executive, Kim Edwards has delivered J.P. Morgan’s resources to her clients, and she has a skillful ability to bring parties together to structure transactions.

In 2017, she led the origination of nearly $1 billion in new commitments, bringing her clients the financial solutions they need for success. It’s not only a testament to her industry experience, but also to her ability to understand her clients’ specific needs.

Edwards currently oversees a portfolio that includes some of the largest real estate companies on the West Coast, and has led the origination of several complex deals. For instance, she recently led the financing for 10 bank syndicates to fund construction of a large office campus.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Edwards as one of the 2018 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Real estate is a dynamic industry, and Edwards’ success has been due largely to her ability to adapt to change. She constantly works through any challenges she encounters, and recognizes new opportunities that come her way. Colleagues say this drive and positivity inspires the rest of the team and impacts J.P. Morgan’s clients as well.
