Women in Real Estate 2020: West Coast Commercial Realty’s Tiffini Connell Helps Shape the Business

Tiffini Connell serves as a Principal and Managing Broker of Seattle-based brokerage West Coast Commercial Realty. The firm specializes in retail properties across the Pacific Northwest.

Connell came into the commercial real estate industry after a career in marketing and public relations. She joined her family’s firm that specialized in retail landlord representation. In the ensuing 16 years in the industry, she has helped shape the business, and when the beloved patriarch and co-founder, who also happened to be her stepfather, passed away, she stepped into a new role.

She was tasked with continuing to evolve and grow the already successful company from mostly grocery-anchored and community-retail transactions to add high impact, early-stage involvement in mixed-use development for leading companies. Along the way she strategically partnered with community leaders and stakeholders such as Windermere Real Estate to leverage a large network of 6,500 brokers in ten West Coast states.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Connell as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners in Seattle & Pacific Northwest. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Connell has been involved in closing more than 900 new transactions exceeding $400 million in total lease value for clients. She manages a portfolio of over three million square feet of primarily retail properties throughout the region. Connell remains deeply connected to community through advocacy, education and business engagement. Connell serves as 2020 President of the Board of the Commercial Brokers Association in Seattle.
