Women in Real Estate 2020: Ware Malcomb’s Tiffany English Pinpoints Resources

Tiffany English leads the growth and overall management of Ware Malcomb’s San Diego offices, including the architecture and interior studios. She brings nearly 25 years of industry experience to her role as Principal and has overseen, designed and managed more than five million square feet of projects for commercial real estate and Fortune 500 clients.

English was born and raised in seven different countries by the time she was 17 years old. That included such places as Vietnam, multiple countries in Africa, Japan and India, where she graduated high school in New Delhi, India. That journey has influenced her perspective of the world. As a result of growing up in different cultures, she learned early on that understanding different perspectives and celebrating everyone’s unique differences was essential to making authentic and true connections.

That approach allows strong lines of communication to be developed with her team and clients. By listening to their needs, she is able to pinpoint resources and connections that positively contribute to making their businesses and lives easier and more functional during this time of a global health pandemic. She says: “There has been a strong desire to keep a sense of normalcy and part of that is knowing what we can control and what is out of our control. Once that is understood, creating a positive path forward provides success for all.”

English opened Ware Malcomb’s Sacramento office in 2004, the day after she gave birth to her daughter. Fortuitously, she joined CREW and found a positive network of people that provided her the lifeline needed to help balance the challenges of her professional workload and being a mother with two children under the age of three. The connection provided her with professional and personal development at a time when she needed the extra encouragement, support and network. English will take over as President of the CREW Network in 2020 and has served on the board of directors in 2018 and 2019, and as president-elect in 2020.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose English as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners in California. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
