Women in Real Estate 2020: Venable’s Suzanne St. Pierre Handles Significant Infrastructure Projects

Suzanne St. Pierre is chair of Venable’s New York Real Estate Group and represents U.S. and multinational institutional investors, developers, nonprofits, and other organizations in complex commercial real estate transactions. St. Pierre assists with structuring REITs, forming business entities, and negotiating transactions involving a wide variety of commercial real estate development projects.

Suzanne has extensive experience in advising clients on office, residential, retail, industrial, hotel, community facility, railroad, and cultural and mixed-use projects. She is involved in significant infrastructure projects in New York City, including the construction of the Gateway Tunnel and the renovation of Moynihan Station.

Some of St. Pierre’s accolades include being listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Real Estate Law, 2020 – 2021, being recognized by New York Law Journal in its “New York Trailblazers” for 2019 and being included in New York Metro Super Lawyers, 2007 – 2012.

Suzanne routinely counsels major nonprofit organizations and charitable foundations on leases and other real estate initiatives. She uses alternative dispute resolution strategies to help resolve conflicts between contractors and subcontractors.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose St. Pierre as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
