Women in Real Estate 2020: AEI’s Staige Miller is Hardworking and Level-Headed Leader

As Vice President of HUD Environmental Services at AEI, Staige Miller built the firm’s HUD Environmental division from the ground up starting in 2017.

When Miller took over, the HUD division averaged $1 million in annual revenue and had no clear direction or oversight. Miller stepped in and established a dedicated team through hiring and training of existing staff.

Thanks to her hard work, the group has gone from $1 million to being on pace to do $12 million in revenue in 2020. This will represent a 140% growth in comparison to 2019 results and 1100% growth since she took over. This amount of growth over a three-year period is noteworthy.

Miller’s current day to day responsibilities include creating organizational process assets, training internal and external stakeholders, identifying and understanding industry guidelines for HUD Environmental Services, senior reviewing, project oversight, business development and client management.

Miller continues to show calm leadership that is especially important given the challenges that come with a division that grows this fast. Her attention to supporting her team and to the needs of clients always comes first.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Miller as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
