Women in Real Estate 2020: LanCarte Commercial’s Sarah LanCarte Spearheads Growth

As a leader in commercial real estate, Sarah LanCarte founded her firm to provide clients with the highest possible returns on their commercial real estate investment. Prior to establishing LanCarte Commercial, she served as managing director at Fort Capital, where she successfully spearheaded the creation and growth of its commercial division. As a principal at Transwestern, she focused on industrial brokerage and closed more than 200 transactions totaling more than 7.5 million square feet in a seven-year period.

Her track record of success as a broker is just one of the reasons we chose LanCarte as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. “Several people approached me about going back to one of the big shops and I was at the step in my career for the next thing to do, and I wanted to do it differently,” LanCarte told the Dallas Business Journal in 2019 as she launched LanCarte Commercial. “I didn’t want to go back to the silo approach. I did not want to go back to just being another person working under a brand name; I wanted to create an atmosphere where we’re sharing and we’re talking and we’re getting the right people we trust.”
