Women in Real Estate 2020: Carlson Integrated’s Rebekah Carlson Goes Far Beyond Role

Rebekah Carlson was with Next Realty for 14 years, most recently as director of marketing and business development. A former colleague says, ”As a marketing person, Bekah’s creativity and writing acumen was expected but what I didn’t expect was someone that had the ability to go far beyond their role to really understand how the acquisition, brokerage and fundraising components of the company functioned.” Carlson, the colleague says, could discuss deals “in an in-depth manner that was more than just knowing the bullet points.”

In 2017, Carlson took everything she had learned and founded Carlson Integrated. The Mundelein, IL-based company provides corporate and property marketing service for a variety of clients, including commercial real estate owners and brokers, restaurants and emerging businesses, and e-commerce clients. Carlson has grown the company to add six associates and uses various other well-known industry veterans on a case-by-case basis to address the specific client assignments.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Carlson as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Carlson also approaches deals from the basis of first-hand knowledge. A past president of the Northern Illinois Commercial Association Realtors, she maintains a commercial brokerage practice, working with owners to sell and lease their properties.
