Women in Real Estate 2020: Rachel Edwards of The Davis Company Serves Pioneers In Multifamily Sector
With more than 14 years of experience, Rachel Edwards, Vice President of The Davis Companies, has built a reputation as one of the top multifamily professionals. Since taking on her position, she plays a central role in pursuing value-add and Opportunity Zone transactions and has expanded the company’s multifamily investment business.
Edwards previously served as Vice President of Acquisitions at Winn Development, generating over $900 million in acquisitions across 13 states. She supervised the sourcing and acquisition of residential housing properties, including rehabilitation of historic buildings and fracture condominium developments with a focus on the creation of mixed- and low-income housing. Her deal sourcing experience, savvy and detailed underwritings, and tenacious pursuit of quality projects or acquisition opportunities make her invaluable to The Davis Companies.
