Women in Real Estate 2020: Colliers’ Melissa Riccardi is Highly Motivated and Passionate Retail Expert

Melissa Riccardi has been recognized by her peers as a highly motivated, driven individual. Her passion, self-motivation and client-centric focus have been noted as what sets her apart from others in the industry.

There are very few jobs that don’t require multi-tasking skills of some sort, but Riccardi’s ability to multi-task is impressive. Riccardi is able to successfully juggle expectations for multiple projects and clients all while giving each the care and attention to detail they deserve. She is recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and successful retail tenant representation brokers in Florida. Riccardi is seen as a leader in the industry and has a keen awareness of current trends and happenings in the market.

Riccardi joined Colliers International in 2012 after relocating from New York to Florida and took a position in the marketing department to familiarize herself with the local market before transitioning to a brokerage role. In her first year, she took the team from an average transaction volume of $26 million per year to more than $35 million per year. She now contributes to a yearly team transaction volume of over $75 million.

In the relatively short time that Melissa has been in brokerage, she has worked hard to build an impressive book of business and clients that most junior brokers would only dream of and she has successfully collaborated with over 30 “Best of Brand” retailers, restaurants and retail servicers.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Riccardi as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
