Women in Real Estate 2020: CushWake’s Lisa Pittman Uses Honesty to Drive Business

Industrial is one of the most male-dominated sectors within the male-dominated industry of commercial real estate, so for Pittman to be successfully managing the company’s Atlanta Industrial Tenant Representation practice is a testament to her ability. Furthermore, thanks in large part to Lisa’s recruiting efforts, Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta’s Industrial Tenant Representation team has more women than any other firm in the city.
Lisa now oversees the P+L for a 20-person sales team and collaborates with other service line leaders to enhance Cushman’s service offerings as well as maximize the talent pool’s potential. She has brought new processes and leveraging techniques to the group, resulting in an increased and continually growing market share.
Pittman is the membership chair for Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta chapter of the Women’s Integrated Network and a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Atlanta chapter. She is currently assisting in building a library of anti-racism resources for the company and growing awareness of the CRE industry to communities that would otherwise not be exposed to opportunities within it.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Pittman as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
