Women in Real Estate 2020: Davis Southwest’s Linda Tierney is an Ideal Team Lead

Linda Tierney serves as the Vice President Asset Management & Business Development and is a broker at Davis Southwest in Phoenix. She embodies all that is an ideal broker and team lead.

Tierney is the type of person who “thinks big” and is constantly identifying new business goals to pursue. She believes opportunities for both business development and personal growth can be found everywhere and harnesses her energy to drive significant results. Tierney brings a knack for developing highly effective business strategies by visualizing the big picture and understanding success is achieved by breaking projects into smaller, achievable parts.

She has helped the company grow by building teams to tackle management assignments in multiple markets. Tierney has played a key role in substantially expanding Davis Southwest’s presence in the southwest market over the last five years, including direct management of nearly 540,000 square feet of medical office space in Arizona alone.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Tierney as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners in Phoenix. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

A key way Tierney’s leadership has stood out is through the creation of an all-in-one property management service that delivers resources and tools needed to navigate the issues properties face during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. That proactive solutions-oriented approach is a reason national and regional healthcare system leaders count on Tierney and her teams to help guide their real estate decisions.

Still, Tierney finds time to support the community through stewardship, having consistently volunteered at a local Salvation Army for the last 10 years straight. In 2018 she also founded her own non-profit, Straight Grace, where she creates awareness and fundraises to help those in need find stable housing, food and other necessities.
