Women in Real Estate 2020: ARCOMurray’s Lauren Ladowski Toggles Between Engineering and Business

Lauren Ladowski is VP of ARCO/Murray, a nationwide design-build general-contractor in Dallas. A natural leader, Ladowski reportedly has an uncanny ability to adapt her approach for whoever she is working with and can easily toggle between being an engineer and being business-minded.

Colleagues say Ladowski has been able to make the biggest impact by identifying a need for a better tenant-improvement construction experience in the DFW market. She saw an enormous opportunity to introduce ARCO/Murray’s turnkey approach, putting the client’s needs first, which persuaded people to give ARCO/Murray a chance.

In a market where there is no shortage of options for construction, Ladowski is propelling ARCO/Murray to be one of the leaders. The numbers behind her work are impressive. She has grown her team’s revenue to $15 million in just one year and has grown the team itself from two project managers to eight today.

These are just some of the reasons we chose Ladowski as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Ladowski’s greatest leadership effort this year has been her emphasis on diversity and inclusion within the organization. She has spent the summer leading a book club and discussion of “So You Want to Talk about Race” with our team. She has also been at the forefront of diversity recruiting efforts.
