Women in Real Estate 2020: SRS’ Cindy Schooler Brings Distinctive Skill Set to Tampa Market

Cindy Schooler is senior vice president and market leader in SRS’ Tampa office. She leads the Tampa market alongside John Artope. Cindy joined SRS in 2016 with more than 15 years of real estate experience in both the office and retail industries.

Previously, she worked with Cushman Wakefield as the director of retail and office brokerage services. Her distinctive skill set benefits her clients, ranging from space utilization and design, to cost-saving techniques and value engineering. She has worked with many notable clients including National Airlines Corp., Knob Hill Consulting Group, Restaurant Partners Inc., Integrative Medicine Corp., TW2 Advertising Agency, Old Town Amusement Complex, 4 Rivers Smokehouse Corp., Romacorp, Inc., Chicken Salad Chick, Skechers Shoes, Dunkin, and Fidelity Bank.

In 2008, Schooler founded Cynco Properties, a full-service commercial brokerage organization. During her tenure as managing partner, she successfully completed more than 250,000 square feet of office space projects including relocation of both local and national corporations. She was also responsible for a 200,000-square-foot mixed-use project requiring repositioning of the current tenant mix, locating new tenants, and securing market exposure for the property. Prior to her time in the real estate industry, Schooler spent 10 years in the healthcare industry serving in a variety of roles including project development, operations management, and community relations.

Schooler is a board member and former president of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) as well as the Central Florida Women’s League and is an active member of ICSC. Schooler is also a member of SRS’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Schooler is also an often-quoted resource for many local publications and a recently featured panelist for Shopping Center Business Outlook webinar: Central Florida’s Retail Outlook and the market’s response to COVID-19.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Schooler as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
