Women in Real Estate 2020: McCaffery Interests’ Carly Stevenson Creates Value
Carly Stevenson provides leadership for McCaffery Interests’ internally owned and fee managed multifamily portfolio totaling 5,000 units across Chicago, Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Pittsburgh. Her extensive multifamily management experience has created value for McCaffery in a number of areas including ground-up developments, value-add redevelopment, initial lease-up, stabilized operations, acquisition integration and dispositions.
These are just a couple of the reasons we chose Stevenson as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
In recent years, Stevenson has undertaken an increasingly important role of growing McCaffery’s third-party management business. Through her consistent record of excellence, persistence, and valued relationships from nearly 20 years in the industry, she has authored a comprehensive business plan to grow the Chicago-based firm’s multifamily portfolio.
Additionally, she has assembled a team that has initiated several platform-building services, including a rigorous training program, best-in-class policies and procedures and innovative new systems that strengthen McCaffery’s leverage in the residential property management business. Specifically, her response to the COVID-19 crisis was swift, thorough and communicative.
“The COVID-19 guides that [Carly has] provided over the last few weeks have been great resources to us, and I appreciate the high level of communication,” said Meaghan Finneran, VP at Stockbridge Capital. “The teams have done a fantastic job adapting to this new environment.”
