Women in Real Estate 2019: NAP’s Sheri Ross Recognized for Work Ethic, Quick Thinking

As vice president of leasing for North American Properties (NAP), Ross is responsible for managing all aspects of the lease process, from the initial proposal to the fully executed lease. To date, she has completed nearly 800,000 square feet of retail lease negotiations and 193 deals on behalf of NAP’s Atlanta office. She was critical to bringing the merchandise mix together for Alpharetta’s Avalon mixed-use project, and she has worked with some of the world’s top retail brands such as Regal Cinemas, Anthropolgie and Pottery Barn, as well as local favorites like The El Felix.
Ross has been recognized for her around-the-clock work ethic, something she first learned while spending summers on a tobacco farm with her father in eastern North Carolina. Through this experience, Ross learned there are many small steps that need to be carefully managed in order to complete a task. Her rural background also taught her the benefits of creativity, quick-thinking and the ability to work with everyone.
Currently, Ross is lending her expertise to NAP’s $5 billion pipeline of mixed-use destinations, which includes Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta; Revel (anchored by Infinite Energy Center) in Gwinnett County; High Street Atlanta in Central Perimeter; and Riverton in the metro New York area.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Ross as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
