Women in Real Estate 2019: Marcus & Millichap’s Janette Monfared Markets Unique Aspects of Assets

Janette Monfared brings more than two decades of experience in real estate investments, sales, and development consulting with major Southern California investors to her role as Senior Vice President Investments, and Senior Director of Multi Family Housing at Marcus & Millichap in Encino, CA.

Monfared credits much of her success to the implementation of an aggressive marketing plan that emphasizes the uniqueness of properties she’s entrusted to sale, along with a vast network of connections with major local investors. This unique approach to marketing properties has ensured that real estate assets are exposed to the largest number of qualified investors securing the highest price in the shortest amount of time for clients.

During her CRE career, Monfared has specialized in real estate consulting for Fortune 500 clients, lending institutions, national and local commercial, and residential developers and government entities. Her background in commercial real estate encompasses strategic business planning and transactional and entity consulting, market and financial feasibility analysis, determination of development alternatives, highest and best use studies, due diligence of acquisition, development, and disposition of real estate projects and portfolios, corporate relocation studies, and real estate securitization.

She’s also earned sales Recognition Awards in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, and 2013.

She has also racked up four consecutive annual Platinum honors since 2015, and has been named a Top 5 Broker in L.A. County by Costar. Monfared recorded the highest number of multifamily transactions in the Sherman Oaks, Studio City, and North Hollywood markets in 2012 and 2013.

About Dennis Kaiser

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis is a communications leader with more than 40 years of experience including as a journalist and in corporate and agency marketing communications roles. He has worked on marketing communications assignments for such CRE companies as Blackstone/Equity Office, Carlyle, Caruso, Disney Resorts, GE Capital, Irvine Company, Hines, Howard Hughes Corp., Jeffries, Lennar, MGM, Marcus & Millichap, Prologis, Raleigh Studios, Simon, Starwood, Trammell Crow Company, Transamerica, UBS and Wynn Resorts. Dennis has also worked on communications and launch strategies for a number of consumer electronic, media and tech brands including SlingMedia, Channel Master, Deluxe Media Entertainment, BeIn Sports, EchoStar and Sprint. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements. Dennis has been involved in a host of charitable and community organizations including the American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, Boy Scouts, Chrysalis Foundation, Freedom For Life, HOLA, L.A.’s BEST, Reach Out and Read, Super Bowl Host Committee, and the Thunderbirds Charities.
