Women in Real Estate 2019: NKF’s Lynn Kious Leverages Corporate Experience
As senior managing director, brokerage services with NKF, Lynn Kious has leveraged 25-plus years of experience with Fortune 500 clients to the benefit of fast-growing corporate clients. She has also served as a strong industry leader in training and mentoring other top level CRE professionals.
Year to date, the Los Angeles-based corporate advisory services specialist and her teams have completed transaction volume on behalf of global clients totaling $230 million, including $193 million in sales globally, and negotiating approximately 470,000 square feet of leases globally.
With a background that includes senior roles with Johnson Controls and the Walt Disney Company, Kious can call on a unique perspective as a service provider to other real estate leaders. Overseeing teams from Shanghai to San Francisco and from Los Angeles to London, she has consistently beaten client financial targets by 15% to 30%.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Kious as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. In addition, Kious’ leadership with industry organization CoreNet is outstanding in many ways. For example, she has served as a Senior Leader of Corporate Real Estate (SLCR) faculty member for 14 years, teaching an SLCR class titled “Organizational Change- designing the optimal corporate real estate organization” annually at CoreNet’s Global Summit.
