Women in Real Estate 2019: CBRE’s Arden Karson Recognized for Mentorship, Inclusivity

Arden Karson is Senior Managing Director of South Florida for CBRE and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of CBRE’s South Florida business operations, encompassing three offices and approximately 200 employees.

Karson has successfully led CBRE’s business and operations in South Florida since her appointment as Senior Managing Director in January 2017. She has elevated CBRE’s brand across South Florida, effectively unifying the tri-county region. Aligned with local Governmental efforts, Ms. Karson has consistently promoted the entire South Florida region to national and international stakeholders. In addition, under her leadership, CBRE in South Florida has seen an unprecedented increase in recruitment focused on inclusion and diversity.

With more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, Karson is widely recognized by her peers in the industry for mentoring and helping professionals. She is passionate about people and empowering women to reach their full potential in their careers.

Karson is known among her peers as an individual passionate about people, real estate and South Florida. She currently serves in the executive committee of The Friends of Underline, and is very involved in the strategic decision-making process of the project. Karson has also participated in the Dolphin’s Cancer Challenge, and has been part of its Heavy Hitter group, raising tens of thousands of dollars on behalf of the cause.
