Women in Real Estate 2019: Unico’s Lori Hill Brings Acute Focus on Investment, Portfolio Strategies

Unico’s Lori Hill, Senior Vice President, Investor Management, serves as a member of the senior leadership team focused on the formation of equity investment programs, programmatic ventures, and managing investor relationships. She oversees the Seattle-based company’s corporate marketing and research initiatives to advance firm investment and portfolio strategies.

She joined the private equity real estate investment firm earlier this year from JLL, where she was a Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group in Seattle. A recognized investment sales and commercial real estate industry veteran, Hill brings more than 20 years of investment sales experience across multiple property types and asset classes, with a particular depth of experience in office properties and development sites. Her career transactional history exceeds $4 billion, and more than seven million square feet.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Hill as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Hill’s client base spans the spectrum of large institutional investors, fund managers, developers, and high-net-worth families. She is known for her dedicated focus and commitment to client goals, creative solutions, and delivering maximum positive outcome. Her resulting track record is highlighted by several market-leading benchmarks. Her work has earned her the “SIOR Investment Broker of the Year” in 2007, 2013, and 2014 by The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).

Hill is a committed industry and community contributor, with involvement in numerous non-profit organizations over the course of her career, including Urban Land Institute’s Women’s Leadership Committee (co-chair) and Membership Committee (chair), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Seattle, Girls Scouts of Western Washington, ArtsFund, and Village Theatre. In 2017, the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) honored Hill with its “Impact Award” for the Career Advancement of Women.
