Women in Real Estate 2019: McCall & Almy’s Lauren Donahue Moves the Business Forward

“An engaging intellectual challenge: it’s about blending the facts and figures of a deal with the personalities at play to ultimately move the business forward.” That’s McCall & Almy’s VP of strategy, Lauren Donahue, characterizing commercial real estate. Donahue is described as both hands-on and big-picture, focusing on leveraging her expertise to guide McCall & Almy’s institutional and portfolio clients across a range of industry sectors as they plan for the long term.

Drawing on her broad base of experience in development and asset management, Donahue has carved out a role on the strategic advisory side of the business since joining McCall & Almy three years ago Her work includes advising medical, educational and institutional clients on the monetization and management of their portfolios.

Colleagues describe Donahue as someone who “thrives on the opportunity to understand further the sensitivities and needs of the firm’s clients, which is the key to the current business but also allows her to foreshadow their future business needs.”

These are just some of the reasons we chose Donahue as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Donahue as described as very goal-oriented. She tackles every part of a deal, no matter the size, with the same tenacity so clients can rest assured that nothing gets past her.
