Women in Real Estate 2019: Hunt’s Rachel Diller is Committed to Housing Opportunities

UrbanView’s investment strategy targets U.S. urban markets where shifting demographic and economic trends create opportunities to drive inclusive growth and outsized returns. It follows Diller’s role as a managing director with Goldman Sachs’ Urban Investment Group, where she deployed capital into public-private projects valued at more than $1.5 billion before founding UrbanView. With the current platform at Hunt, Diller’s focus is on Opportunity Zones, where Hunt’s and Diller’s collective experience, scale and targeted investment strategy naturally place the firm in qualifying areas.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Diller as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
Diller’s longstanding commitment to housing opportunities and her real estate acumen underscore two pursuits outside of Hunt. Since 2014, she has been an adjunct professor in Columbia Business School’s real estate MBA program, and she also serves on the board of the Corporation for Supportive Housing.
