Wolters Kluwer Expands Office Space in Waltham to 132K SF

Global information services organization Wolters Kluwer expanded its existing office space at 230 CityPoint in Waltham by 20,000 square feet, bringing the firm’s total footprint to more than 132,000 square feet.

James Elcock, John Carroll III, Bill Lynch and Mark Friedman of Colliers represented Wolters Kluwer in the lease transaction with landlord Boston Properties. The expansion was prompted by the success and subsequent growth of Wolters Kluwer Health division’s UpToDate Inc., a software system providing point-of-care medical and evidence-based clinical resource solutions. The UpToDate group will backfill space soon to be vacated by Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton PC at the property.

“In signing their initial lease back in 2014, Wolters selected Boston Properties as a partner knowing they were committed to accommodating growth throughout the term, so BP’s support in this latest expansion did not disappoint,” said Elcock of Colliers.
