Wis.-Based Continental Properties to Build Deerfield Apartment Complex
Continental Properties, a developer based in Wisconsin, has teamed up with the venture that owns Deerbrook Shopping Center and plans to build a 354-unit apartment building, reported Crain’s.
The site was originally a project between a Deutsche Bank affiliate and Reva Development Partners, and plans were approved in 2019 to build a housing complex on the 10.7-acre parcel. Four years after acquiring the site with plans to build a 246-unit apartment building, Duetche and Reva parted ways.
Now, Continental Properties and DWS are looking to build a slightly reenvisioned “Springs at Deerfield” complex, which will require a green light from the village of Deerfield on an amendment to the previously approved plan. The Springs at Deerfield would include a mix of units ranging from studios to three-bedrooms. Continental Properties has continued to expand its “Springs” brand, including a recent 320-unit community in Wisconsin.
