WiredScore Raises $15M in Series B Round

WiredScore, the Lower Manhattan-based certification company focused on digital connectivity and smart technology, has raised $15 million in Series B funding led by Beringea with key participation from notable strategic and venture fund investors including Cushman & Wakefield, Crow Holdings and Taronga Ventures.

These new investors are in addition to core returning investors Fifth Wall, Bessemer Venture Partners and Jona Capital. This round brings WiredScore’s total funds raised to date to $28 million.

“The future will happen in buildings, with the most pressing challenges of our time—widespread access to great connectivity, carbon reduction, health and wellness, cyber security—being addressed through in-building technology,” said Arie Barendrecht, WiredScore CEO and founder. “This future is not achievable without empowering the individuals responsible for buildings to implement tech in such a way that it will have a lasting impact.”

The news follows a year of aggressive expansion for WiredScore, domestically and internationally.
