Wingspan Development Opens Luxury MF in Milwaukee

Wingspan Development Group joined local officials and project partners for a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Ruby at Brookfield Square, a 231-unit luxury apartment community in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Located ten miles west of Milwaukee, the building is nearly 30 percent leased. The community, which features two four-story buildings connected by a skybridge, is the first new Class A rental in Brookfield since 2019. “The Ruby at Brookfield Square was the missing puzzle piece in local planners’ vision for a live/work/play district in this area, offering luxury apartments near shopping and major employers as well as a quick commute to downtown Milwaukee,” said Jason Macklin, director of development for Wingspan.

Located at 365 S. Moorland Road, the building is adjacent to the recently renovated Brookfield Square Mall and close to the Blue Mound retail district. The property includes a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
