Wingspan Development Cuts Ribbon on Plainfield Luxury Apartments

Wingspan Development Group joined local officials including Plainfield Mayor John Argoudelis and project partners on Nov. 1 for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Sixteen30. The project is a Class A, 284-unit rental community at 14750 S. Wallin Dr. in Plainfield, IL, about 40 miles southwest of Chicago.

Featuring eight garden-style buildings with neo-farmhouse exteriors surrounding a 7,500-square-foot clubhouse with resort-style pool, Sixteen30 is already 80% leased. Wingspan sister company Nicholas & Associates handled construction. Lincoln Property Company oversees leasing and property management.

“There has been a strong demand nationally for luxury suburban rentals like Sixteen30, which offer resort-like amenities, top finishes and access to major commuter corridors,” said Chris Coleman, VP of development for Mount Prospect, IL-based Wingspan. “Sixteen30 is proof the concept also works here in suburban Chicago. We are thrilled with the property’s reception and thank Plainfield for trusting us to bring this luxury option to the village.”
