Wine-Focused Multifamily Project Underway in New Mexico

Pop quiz: whereโ€™s the oldest wine-growing region in the United States? New Mexico wine production dates to the early 17th century when monks raised the fruit for religious purposes. These days, Titan Development is breaking ground on a vineyard-themed project called Allaso Vineyards, a 111-unit Class A multifamily project located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The 123,000 square foot project, announced in September 2021, will take approximately 14 months to complete. Dekker/Perich/Sabatini is the project architect, HB Construction is the general contractor and Greystar will be the operator, according to a news release.

Situated in the Northeast Heights neighborhood, the Allaso Vineyards apartments will be available in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts, per the release.

Should prospective tenants have their own wine stash โ€“ or just want to build one โ€“ the on-property wine lounge will include private wine lockers that can be rented for personal storage, plus each resident will be given a private label bottle of wine upon move-in.
