Wicker Park Capital Snags 335K-SF Retail Center in Kennesaw

A fund sponsored by Wicker Park Capital Management has acquired Cobb Place, a 335,190-square-foot retail center in the Atlanta suburb of Kennesaw. The sales price was undisclosed.

Cobb Place features the largest concentration of furniture and home-centric retailers in the Atlanta metro, including Bassett Furniture, American Signature Furniture, Ashley Furniture, Bed Bath & Beyond, Cost Plus World Market and Hobbytown USA. Additional tenants at the 95% leased center include DSW, Jersey Mike’s and Play It Again Sports.

Jim Hamilton and Brad Buchanan of JLL represented the seller, a partnership between DRA Advisors LLC and RCG Ventures LLC, in the transaction. Additionally, working on behalf of the new owner, JLL placed a seven-year, fixed-rate acquisition loan with Goldman Sachs.
