Wholesale-Distribution Firm Picks Up New HQ in DuPage

Colliers International | Chicago has arranged the $4.9 million sale of United Business Mail’s 81,084-square-foot warehouse facility located at 1001 Foster Ave. in Bensenville, IL to Midwest Distribution. Colliers’ Steven Kohn represented the seller in the disposition.

“We are pleased to achieve a favorable sale on behalf of our long-time client,” said Kohn. “This is the fifth transaction in five years in which we have represented United Business Mail.”

Midwest Distribution, one of the largest wholesale distribution companies in the U.S., will move its headquarters to 1001 Foster, a DuPage County facility that was recently modernized. The company continues to experience rapid growth and, since opening in 2014, has more than doubled its business each year.

Doug Pilcher of Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer in the transaction.
