Whole Foods picked for The Mix

Whole Foods Tapped for The Mix

Whole Foods confirmed that its new store is in development in Frisco. The soon-to-be 40,000-square-foot store is to be located in The Mix development, which broke ground in January. The Austin-based grocer currently has four locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. There are over 500 Whole Foods markets in the US and Canada.

The Mix is planned to cover 112 acres and feature medical offices, 630 townhomes, an 8-acre park, trails and parking garage. The total project cost is estimated to be $3 billion.

Frisco approved $113 million in grants to help begin the construction of a new walkable development that will take the place of the former Wade Park property.

The Mix plans to build over 2 million square feet of class-A office space. JVP Development is leading a team that includes StreetLights Residential, Torti Gallas + Partners, CallisonRTKL, Kimley-Horn, The Retail Connection and JLL.
