Whole Foods Plans Regional HQ Move to Denver
Whole Foods Market will be relocating its current Rocky Mountain regional headquarters from Boulder, CO to a 38,000-square-foot location at 3012 Huron St. in Denver. The Austin-based natural-food grocer cited the new office’s location near Denver Union Station, a commuter rail line serving the Denver International Airport, as a main reason for the relocation.
Whole Foods’ regional headquarters is currently at Boulder’s Twenty Ninth Street mall, which was the former headquarters of rival Wild Oats Markets. Whole Foods acquired Wild Oats in 2007.
The new office will be slightly smaller than its current 45,000 square feet, but the plan is to maximize space a little differently, according to company spokeswoman Heather Larrabee.
