Whole Foods Market to Expand River Forest Town Store

Whole Foods Market is planning an expansion and has signed a new long-term commitment at River Forest Town Center. The company is expanding into the adjacent 7,000-square-foot former Rally House space.

In addition to the expansion, the River Forest Town Center location will also be doing a full remodel of the market and has signed a new 25-year long-term lease. The Mid-America Asset Management team led by Dick Spinell and Scott Stefanik, along with Midwest Commercial Realty, worked together on the deal.

The plans coincide with the Amazon-owned natural and organic grocery store’s 30-year anniversary this year. The River Forest Town Center location was the 14th Whole Foods opened. There are currently 516 in the United States, 14 in Canada and seven in the UK.
