White Star Acquires Historic Alexandria MXU Property
Maryland-based real estate investment firm White Star Investments acquired 110 S. Pitt St., an historic 9,000-square-foot building in Alexandria, VA. The sales price was $3.1 million. Built in the early 1800s, the property consists of 4,200 square feet of restaurant space, as well as three residential and one office unit. The property also features a large outdoor patio and courtyard area for the restaurant.
The acquisition is White Star’s 11th in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Jacob Ermer of Hogan Cos. represented White Star in the transaction. The undisclosed seller was represented by Geoffrey Lindsay of Capital Realty Advisors.
“Alexandria was a logical move, based on its proximity to DC and the culture that is growing around the city of Alexandria,” said Rueben Bajaj, principal of White Star.
