White Plains Approves Apartment Tower for Alliance Residential
Alliance Residential Company won approval from the White Plains Common Council to build a 15-story apartment tower at Mamaroneck Ave. and Post Rd. in downtown White Plains, NY.
“I think the project will have a great impact on our downtown and our city as a whole,” said Tom Roach, mayor of White Plains, to the Journal News. “The residents will be coming out every day to shop, to eat and to help buoy our economy.”
Alliance’s Broadstone White Plains project also includes plans for future phases, with a second 15-story tower on Mitchell Place, connected to the first by a pedestrian bridge. The combined development will total 434 apartments, 7,800-square-feet of ground floor retail space, a six-story parking garage and a small public park on Mitchell Place.
No timetable has been announced yet for the construction.
