White Oak Expands into CRE Credit Opportunities

White Oak Global Advisors has brought on real estate finance veteran Eric Tanjeloff as managing principal to lead White Oak Real Estate Capital (WOREC), a newly formed affiliate focused on credit opportunities in commercial real estate. Headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, WOREC will initially focus on direct loan origination secured by high quality real estate assets in the U.S.

WOREC will lend tactically against a broad range of commercial real estate asset classes and real estate operating companies. Loan sizes will typically range from $25 million to $150 million.

“We have strong conviction in the plethora of complementary opportunities that the commercial real estate space will provide to White Oak’s clients,” said Andre Hakkak, CEO and co-founder of White Oak. “Pairing Eric’s experience with the full backing of White Oak’s lending platform differentiates us in the marketplace and positions us for success.”
