White & Case Ink 11-Year Deal at 609 Main at Texas
White & Case LLP joined the increasing roster of tenants to take space at the 48-story, 1.1-million-square-foot 609 Main at Texas in downtown Houston. The global law firm signed an 11-year lease, taking down 57,315 square feet on the 29th and 30th floors. The firm plans to relocate to its new space in early 2020.
Landlord Hines was represented by Michael Anderson and Damon Thames with Colvill Office Properties. JLL’s David Bale represented White & Case in the transaction. The lease brings the building to 84% occupancy, with other tenants including EnVen Energy, Kirkland & Ellis LLP and United Airlines. Hines indicated that other transactions are in progress, which will bring the building to 93% occupancy.
