Connect Apartments is coming up on June 26th in Los Angeles. Here’s a link to find out more about the conference and to register.
Advancing the establishment of a town center in Wheeling, IL, the village’s board has approved a redevelopment agreement with the partnership building Uptown 500, a $90-million mixed-use project across the street from the Wheeling Town Center development. The Uptown 500 project, a venture of DAC Developments and Atlas Residential, will receive nearly $7 million in tax incentives, according to published reports.
The village of Wheeling has been working with the developers since last year on finalizing plans for Uptown 500. “This is the third large development in our newly-established town center area, and we’re very excited to see continued progress here,” said Village President Patrick Horcher.
Uptown 500 will feature 321 apartment units, 10,500 square feet of retail space and a 444-unit parking structure. Construction could begin as soon as this summer.
