WeWork Works Up to Snapchat’s Valuation
Despite ubiquitous conjecture that the start-up bubble is about to pop, WeWork announced that its valuation now matches that of Snapchat at $16 billion. In its latest round of funding, the company has managed to rank and tie in the seventh spot of most valued “unicorns.”
Unlike established companies with slowing growth, start-ups have the privilege of persuasion to convince investors that they will be worth billions in the future. When the co-working company began, it reached a valuation of $10 billion in just five years, thanks to a strategic investor pitch deck.
