WeWork Opts for 7 Floors at Jack Resnick’s Plaza District Tower

WeWork, which announced a sizable Far West Side lease at 21 Penn Plaza earlier this week, has also enlarged its footprint on the East Side. The coworking giant has leased 69,679 square feet on seven full floors at Jack Resnick & Sons’ 880 Third Ave.

The lease brings the 18-story boutique office tower in the Plaza District to full occupancy. “We’re confident WeWork and its clients will benefit from our building’s outstanding location, first-rate infrastructure, and quality service,” said Jonathan Resnick, president of Jack Resnick & Sons.

Jack Resnick & Sons was represented by an in-house leasing team of Brett Greenberg and Fran Delgorio. WeWork was advised by a Savills Studley team of Ken Ruderman and Andrew Zang.

The lease commences this summer. WeWork’s space will include two outdoor terraces on 880 Third’s 12th floor.
