WeWork Lands at Trammell Crow’s The Boardwalk in OC

Connect Orange County is next week, September 25 at The Boardwalk in Orange County. One of the largest events in Southern California commercial real estate, it’s a can’t miss event. Take a tour of the epic new project, hear the speakers, and stay for the networking. Click here to get more information and register to attend.

Trammell Crow Company signed a 63,610-square-foot lease with WeWork Inc. at The Boardwalk, a newly-developed, roughly 550,000-square-foot spec office project in Irvine, CA. The facility, on the sixth floor with an outdoor terrace, will be the largest co-working space in Orange County, and brings WeWork’s county footprint to nearly 150,000 square feet in three locations.

The 7.5-acre site is located in the Irvine Business Complex near John Wayne Airport at 18565 and 18575 Jamboree Rd. The two nine-story towers feature 65,000-square-foot floorplates with 5,000 square feet of restaurant-focused retail and two acres of landscaped open space. The project includes signature bridgeways and outdoor terraces that connect and embrace the open air setting, as well as open floor plates and contiguous space that encourages collaboration.

CBRE’s Dean Chandler, Justin Hill and Weston Chandler are handling leasing at The Boardwalk, a project that’s roughly 40% leased. Other tenants include Pathway Capital, Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP and Propel Media Inc.
